  • Would you rather have a personal chef for the rest of your life and never be allowed to cook again OR work full-time as a personal chef for the rest of your life?

Clarification: While working as a personal chef for others, you can also still cook for yourself as often as you like, it is just your full-time profession until natural retirement age.

This one is hard for me. I find so much pleasure in cooking and baking but like to do it when I am in the mood. I don’t think I could cook full time for others. But… to never cook again?!?! argh

I’d think I’d go for being the personal chef and shop around for a nice family just so I could cook at home. I’d always want to be able to cook!

I hate to say this…but I’d rather have a personal chef for the rest of my life. While I do love to cook…right now it is actually a luxury for me to have the time and space to really cook and so I cherish it all the more. Cooking non-stop would begin to take the fun out of it for me (hence why I’m not a chef). Besides…what I really love most about cooking is the end result - the food!

A hard one because even if I can cook for myself as a personal chef, I probably won’t want to if I cook three meals a day for a living. I’d probably come home and eat crap or try to sneak away some of my concoctions for my employer in tupperwares. But, the flip side means I could never cook again for the rest of my life… I’d have to go with being a personal chef because, although I could give up a lot if I had a chef working for me, I want to make babyfood for my future children, pass on my mom’s matzoh ball soup recipe, and bring treats to friends. There, I’ve answered it.
