I'm from Ann Arbor and my family spends a lot of time in west Michigan (Saugatuck/Douglas) and words don't get close to expressing my love of Yesterdog. I'm there over Labor Day so look for the lanky girl pounding hot dogs... :) I'm going to NYC next weekend and am going to try to check out this place called Willie's Dawgs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5SzkbyShMA), which I came across through my marketing work with Hellmann's Real Food campaign. In the mean time, I'll have to grab a half smoke from the street cart vendor outside my office. Ohhhhh Yesterdog!!!! I have brought many a friend from afar that have no allegiance to Grand Rapids and they agree. The clincher? You don't even have to like hot dogs to like a Yesterdog, because the dog itself is about as thick as a pencil. It's the toppings that seal the deal.
