wow. i just made this for my boyfriend and he was thrilled with it. it was very attractive and tasty – pure summer. it really topped off our farmers market dinner of sauted corn with basil and onion, pan-fried local fluke, and crisp green beans. thanks for the inspiration and of course the recipe, caroline!

Too many people fool around too much with innovation and try to add exotic ingredients and whatnot, but I love the simple things like this kind of dessert. Perfection indeed.

makes me think of ice cream.. I don’t know why… also I have been messing around with crisps where you bake the crisp separately . it has wonderful body and snap. great for apples too.. and ice cream?
