[...] I always love a good food blog to inspire me to create new and fantastic foods. Whipped is one of those sites. I will be on the prowl for other great food blogs in 2008 which offer healthy and wholesome food choices. And of course, adding my own gourmet homemade concoctions. For a soupy start to the new year try this great looking asparagus soup from whipped. [...]

That sounds like every night for me! Every time I want to whip up something quick, I end up changing everything and making it 10 times more complicated :-) My specialty is getting every bowl, pot and pan dirty! Luckily my husband is good about helping me clean up :-)

The soup sounds great! Now I want some green soup but I don't have asparagus so I might settle for spinach!

I love making asparagus soup! I put more fat in the base for my big butt
(a dash of heavy cream) and a grind of nutmeg for contrast. a couple sprigs of mint is faboulicsious too!
some lamb on the side???
a nice Vouvray... hey hey
