[...] I don’t usually support using “diet” things if they don’t taste very good. I would much rather eat everything I want in moderation than sacrifice taste. If you are taking the time to read food blogs, there is a good chance you feel the same. However, when you have some pregnancy weight to lose and flavor is not really sacrificed, it is okay to go light… right?! I had determined that all fat free dairy products were off my list. I do find the light versions are tolerable: 1% milk, light yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese and even some light cheeses. Sometimes, I even like them better because they go down the hatch without that thick, milky coating in your throat.
She's a doll, and all that red hair...how fortunate you are. Love that you put the little whisk in her hand, and love the name Vivian...very pretty. I bet you spend countless minutes, perhaps even hours, just gazing at her in wonderment. I know I did when each of my children were born, and do you know what? Sometimes I still do!

I hope your first official Mother's Day was wonderful. I wish you many joyous, happy moments with your little girl and husband. What a wonderful summer you're all going to have!

Oh, she looks so huggable! And 9 lbs, goodness, I practically expect her to start talking next week. Just lifting her and playing with her will be a workout!

She's beautiful...isn't it a great time now when they're newborns? I have to say that was one of most favorite times in life, despite the lack of sleep.
