This is probably the least needed tool I could imagine – iron skillets should NEVER be scraped. Seriously. Like, even if you’ve been using yours for 20 years. That’s the beauty of the iron skillet, it takes years to be cured correctly.

I have one of those but mine doesn’t have a handle, it’s more like a square with two red rubber edges to grip, if that makes any sense. I got it as a gift & it’s so handy. I didn’t know there was a handle version- I’m jealous!

Love this gadget, and love that you showed it in a cast iron skillet—my husband seems to have no problem getting ours back to pristine condition after using it, but when I’m done, that poor thing is a mess! I could definitely put this plastic scrapper to good use!

In the suburbs of KC, there’s a great kitchen village (not a store, but an entire historic village) that’s full of kitchen wares, gadgets, etc. from A-Z. It’s an amazing complex, and so much fun to walk through. I cannot leave that place without purchasing a few extra things I didn’t know I needed until I saw them either (which, after one too many trips, can be dangerous to your bank account) :-)
