Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 4 cups plain Greek frozen yogurt (1 large 32-oz container)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 large or 3 small fresh, ripe peaches
Instructions
- Peel fresh, ripe peaches and cut into chunks.
- Slightly mash the peaches to release juices.
- Add the sugar and lemon juice to the bowl.
- Stir in the Greek yogurt until all ingredients are combined.
- Using an ice cream maker, churn the peach frozen yogurt until finished. Store in the refrigerator for a few hours if needed to firm it up.
- Serve with additional fresh peaches, or topped with granola!
Notes
- I used whole milk, or full fat frozen yogurt. Low-fat works as well.
- Nectarines also work with this recipe.
- Thawed frozen peaches can be substituted but will not have the same flavor.
