Description
A better-for-you chocolate treat that is dairy-free, very low sugar, and satisfies cravings. This pudding makes a decadent breakfast, delicious snack, or rich dessert.

- 1/4 cup high quality cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- pinch of sea salt
- 2 cups vanilla or unsweetened almond milk
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- Topping Options: fresh strawberries, dried coconut flakes, pecans, whipped cream, chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg
- Add the almond milk, honey, and vanilla, and chia seeds and whisk to combine
- Put in the refrigerator overnight or at least 6 hours.
- Spoon pudding into serving dishes
- Top with desired toppings
Notes
Use a good quality cocoa powder like Valrhona or you can use Ghirardelli.
The puddings will last for 3 days in the refrigerator. You can store individual servings in jars.
The toppings are flexible! Have fun and try different combinations.
