But not this Caroline (snivel, snivel). Thank you a ton (of cookies) to everyone who voted for me at Bon Appetit. I didn’t really expect to win but the flicker of hope was nice. It feels good to want sometimes especially when I am so fortunate in health and happiness that I want for things like winning a bake-off contest. I didn’t expect to have so many of you take the time to vote and since I had promised you all cookies if I won… I have escaped long nights of baking to fulfill my promise. Always a silver lining!
