Mother Earth is working her magic and awakening from her winter slumber. Blues, browns and grays are giving way to spring green. Initially as meek as a preteen at a middle school dance, the fresh color only dots the branches and peeks up between the mulch. Slowly, the sunshine and warmth coax it along. Confidence is gained as buds burst open and stems surge to their full height. A balance of warm and cool, the spectrum stimulates and soothes from forest to lime to pea to olive.
“Green is the prime color of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises.” — Pedro Calderon de la Barca
